The live album Goran Bare & Majke – “Live in London, 28. 4. 2024” is on sale today.

One of the best representatives of the Croatian rock scene, Goran Bare & Majke, held a concert at the iconic London club Dingwalls on April 28th of this year. Six months later, “Live in London 28.4.2024” is available on CD and Blu-ray.

The band that has marked generations of listeners with its authentic style, their musical influence continues to impress, and this in the year in which Goran Bare celebrates 40 years of his career with Majke. A career that testifies passion and dedication to music, ups, downs and resurgences, and serves as a guiding thread for many bands. With their concert in London, Goran Bare & Majke became part of the history of the legendary Dingwalls Club, where, among others, Foo Fighters, Blondie, Coldplay, R.E.M., The Strokes, The Clash, Sex Pistols, Ramones and many others have performed before.

“The concert was fantastic, we felt good on stage, it was great that people enjoyed themselves and that was enough for us,” Goran Bare said modestly about the concert.

The album contains iconic songs from the rich catalog that resonated at Dingwalls that night: “Ja sam budućnost” (I Am the Future), “Teške boje” (Dark Colors), “Mene ne zanima” (I Don’t Care), “A ti još plačeš” (And You Are still Crying), but also the more recent ones “Ljubav krvari” (Love Is Bleeding), “Skarabej go-go”, “Rođen za suze” (Born for Tears ) and “Noćas prelazim rijeku” (Tonight I Cross the River). Goran Bare, Kruno Domaćinović, Mario Rašić, Davor Rodik, Alen Tibljaš and Gojko Tomljanović are some of the best concert bands in this region and you can feel it from every moment of the concert they played that evening in London.

The album was recorded by Goran Martinac while the mixing and mastering was done by Mauro Širol at the Croatia Records Studio. The art design was by Darko Kujundžić, and the release is equipped with photographs by Zoran Veselinović. The producers of the recording were Nikolina Mazalin and Želimir Babogredac, while the direction and editing of the concert recording was by Marko “Zelja” Zeljković.
