The album “Pseudemokritos” was recorded by three prominent personalities from the world of rock, jazz and blues – Mikoláš Chadima (composer, saxophone, guitars, vocals), Peter Binder (guitars) and Alexej Charvát (bass guitar). They are accompanied by Daniel Charvát on drums and the guest of the album is violinist Dagmar Valentová, who is known from the world of classical music. Pseudemokritos is Chadima’s original album, but thanks to Binder’s punchy guitar and Aleš Charvát’s equally relentless bass, it sounds much different than the protagonist’s MCh Band.

The dense atmosphere of the recording is enhanced by the lyrics of Ivan Wernisch and Pavel Herot, and the painting 'After the End of the World' by Věra Nováková used on the cover. “Pseudemokritos” was released in 1996 on CD and MC, but this edition has long been dismantled. It is now being released on vinyl for the first time to celebrate the author’s seventieth birthday. With its carefully remastered sound, already appreciated by audiophile recording experts, the record has been given new details and space. The album features a double sleeve with documentation and a photo, as well as lyrics and artist biographies in Czech and English.
