Croatia Records Release Information

The new studio album from Električni Orgazam (Electric Orgasm), “U magli sjaj” (Shine in the Fog), is available on CD and LP from today.

The album features 14 new songs and was preceded by the single “Iza vremena” (Behind the Times), a powerful and energetic track which confirms that Električni Orgazam, who have left a profound mark on the Yugoslavian rock scene, are still sound uncompromising, authentic and fresh.

The new release comes after an eight-year break since the album “Gde smo sad” (Where Are We now) and features a sound and energy closest to their cult releases “Distorzija” (Distortion) from 1986 and “A um bum” (And the Mind boom) from 1999, drawing on raw energy, garage rock sound and a direct songwriting style.

“U magli sjaj” was recorded throughout 2025 at the Klinika Petrović Studio, engineered by Ivan Petrović. The mix was completed at the end of last year and the beginning of this year at Studio O, while the remix was done by Oliver Jovanović. The album’s producer has been Srđan “Gile” Gojković. The visual identity of the release was created by Darko Kujundžić, using drawings by Gile and photographs by Brian Rasic, while the mastering was handled by Goran Martinac.

The album features several guest musicians, most notably Zoran “Cane” Kostić from Partibrejkers (Partibreakers) and Anica Dobra, who collaborated with the band back in 1992 on the film “Crni bombarder” (Black Bomber).

Since the beginning of last year, Električni Orgazam have been operating as a quartet again, following the departure of the keyboardist Ljubomir Đukić. The album was recorded with the line-up Srđan “Gile” Gojković, Branislav “Banana” Petrović, Zoran “Švaba” Radomirović and Blagoje “Pače” Nedeljković.
