Fans of top-notch rock and timeless ballads can finally enjoy the reissue of Dado Topić’s legendary concert album “Live in Kerempuh”, which is available as 2CD + DVD set for sale today. The concert set list is composed mainly of love songs, bringing the warmth and emotion that have marked the career of this great man. In addition to songs from the album “Apsolutno sve” (Absolutely Everything), the live performance also included unforgettable hits such as “Da li znaš da te volim” (Do You Know that I Love You), “Makedonija” (Macedonia), “Andrija” (André) and “Oprosti mi” (Forgive Me).

The renowned musicians were joined on stage by Topić’s long-time collaborator Damir Farkaš, the author of the music and lyrics of the complete album “Apsolutno sve”, which was performed in its entirety at the concert. Their collaboration continued with a concert tour, during which “Live in Kerempuh” was recorded.

“After finishing our original album “Apsolutno sve”, Dado and I decided together that after many years, we would try to bring together musicians from those anthological bands to play together for the first time. We sent the songs to Kornelij Kovač, he liked them and happily agreed to play at the concerts. We agreed that, along with the recent material from “Apsolutno sve”, we would also play “Etida” (Etude), “Jedna žena” (One Woman), “Da li znaš da te volim” (Do You Know that I Love You), and “Makedonija” (Macedonia).

The audience, of course, had numerous fond memories of the songs of Korni Grupa (Korni Group) as well as of the group Time. “Kerempuh” was full on all three nights, and on one of those we recorded a live album. During the time spent preparing for the concerts, all the musicians, despite the generational differences, sincerely connected through the music they played with great respect for Dado. This was also the reason for the superb performance and their great enthusiasm and love with which they played on the album,” said the album’s producer Damir Farkaš.

A special touch to this release is the brilliant production, for which Dragutin “Smokva” Smokrović is responsible, while the sound recordings have been carefully processed to provide the audience with top-notch sound. On stage, Dado’s musical magic was joined by some of the biggest names in the domestic scene, including Kornelije Kovač, Josip Boček, Ratko Divjak, Vedran Božić and Alan Bjelinski with an orchestra, while the special guest Ivana Husar Mlinac brought a special emotional note in the duets “Princeza” (Princess) and “Ti” (You).
