One of the most famous and beloved bands from the Yugoslavian region, Crvena Jabuka (Red Apple), is celebrating 40 years of an incredible musical career.

On the occasion of this significant anniversary, Croatia Records has released a new compilation titled “40 years / Samo ljubav / Only Love”. This album is a perfect blend of unforgettable hits and new songs, which have won the hearts of numerous fans over the years.

The compilation contains two CDs with unforgettable songs and evergreens that have marked four decades of musical creativity. The cover of the new edition is by Josipa Barbir, while the art design is by Ana Luketin Fahrenwald. This compilation includes legendary hits such as “Tugo, nesrećo” (Sadness, Misfortune), as well as newer hits such as “Kad joj neko ime spomene” (When Someone Mentions Her Name), from their recently released album “Mirišu jabuke” (Apples Are Smelling), which was well received by the audience.

Celebrating 40 years of a successful career, Crvena Jabuka kicked off their big European tour on January 25, 2025 in Sarajevo’s Zetra. The tour will cover more than 40 cities across Europe, giving fans the opportunity to enjoy timeless hits such as “Dirlija” (Dirlija), “Zovu nas ulice” (The Streets Are Calling Us), “Volio bih da si tu” (I Wish You Were here) and many other songs that have marked their career.

This significant anniversary, which comes with a new compilation and tour, is the perfect opportunity for the band to once again remind us of their irreplaceable influence in the musical history of the Yugoslavian region and to celebrate four decades of creating memories through music that has touched generations.
