The album “Simile...” (Similar…), with which Fermáta opened a new phase of its story, resonated in the early nineties in an extraordinary way. The next chapter of this new stage was the ninth album “Real Time”, released in 1994. It is, as it was, a continuation of the new sound and style that the band had been reborn into under the sole artistic direction of František “Fero” Griglák (guitars & keyboards).

With his bandmates Martin Hanzel (keyboards), Marius Bartoň (bass guitar) and Jindřich G. Plánka (drums) a generation younger than him, he again brought a wide variety of musical moods to the “Real Time” album.

Here we find songs with an emphasis on rock punch and directness, extraordinary warmth and especially excellent instrumental performances. However, we also find sung pieces that accentuate another face of Fero Griglák’s exceptional compositional handwriting. In “Somedays” and “Living Your Lives”, the former Tublatanka member, bassist and singer Pavol Horváth stands behind the microphone to give the songs a proper rock feeling and drive.

The current and first full-length rerelease of the album brings back some well-deserved attention. “Real Time” has being reissued again on CD and for the first time on vinyl with a completely new cover artwork and design.
