“Đelem, đelem” (I Went, I Went), a compilation with 50 of the most famous Roma songs, is on sale today

In addition to the most famous representatives of Roma musical expression (Sar e Roma with Haris Đinović, Raya & Cigani Ivanovići, Usnija Redžepova, Gordana Jovanović, Muharem Serbezovski...) the album also features singers who do not exclusively sing Roma music. For example, the most famous Roma song “Đelem, đelem” (I Went, I Went) is sung by Tereza Kesovija in her unforgettable performance accompanied by the Philharmonic Orchestra, and there is also the inimitable Rade Šerbedžija who performs the well-known “Verka kaludjerka”. Ex Panonia and Zlatni Dukati, with their quality, sweetened this whole story with their excellent performances. The Dragačevački Trubači come with their trumpet competitions, as well as Zvonko Bogdan with covers of Roma songs.

“Đelem, đelem”, a substantial edition with three CDs containing 50 of the most famous Roma songs, is a real musical treat for all lovers of this musical genre. It is known that Roma music does not leave its listeners indifferent. It is music that moves us from place to place, that makes us dance and sing along to it, sometimes it touches us to the point that a tear comes from our eyes. It is music of temperament, excellent melodies and harmonies, it is music that reaches the depths of the soul of each of us. This edition is exactly like that.
