“This album was created because we don’t know how else to express ourselves, except through music. This world needs a quiet word.”

After the excellent single “Eter” (Ether), also the first in their mother tongue, the Rijeka-based alternative rock group One Possible Option presents its studio album with the same title, which is available on streaming services and on sale on LP. The band’s second album expresses their desire for more direct communication with the audience to which they play most often.

“Deni Kasapović’s fantastic and powerful vocals carry all the songs, but not only with expressive power, but with an immediately noticeable emotion in the voice, because the lyrics are as important to them as the music itself, so the singing of those lines is truly inspired and special. On this album, the band decided to express themselves completely freely, and the songs represent a bold musical and textual undertaking. Their desire was to make a diverse, complex and innovative album, full of energy, and to start something new with an indication of further work in Croatian language. In addition to excellent songs, this album is also decorated with an excellent design signed by Igor Jurilj (Yellow Yuri).

“First of all, it is a more refined album, which can be a part of discographical rock offerings anywhere in the world in terms of authorship, performance and production. This refers to the production signed by the band itself. The impression is that the process of recording the album was inverse, that the members first studied the production width, and then based on that they inserted the author’s and arranger’s ideas. And not only that, the words were probably chosen to suit the song and the production, not just the performance. One Possible Option will present “Eter” to the audience for the first time at Zvečka in Rijeka on 13 July 2024, the promotion of the album in Zagreb will take place at the Močvara club on 11 September, while they will also visit Pula on 12October, Azimut in Sibenik and A3 in Knin, and they are also planning new concert dates whose announcements can be followed on social networks.
