The album “Hexe” (Witch) by Priessnitz celebrates 30 years and has been rereleased on CD and for the first time on LP.

The legendary band Priessnitz, currently hibernating for several years, finally has added the latest unavailable album to their discography for their still numerous fans. This is the album “Hexe” (Witch), which was originally released thirty years ago! The third album of the dark Jeseník rockers was recorded and mixed in May 1994 in the Citron studio in Ostrava. The then four-member line-up of Jaromír Švejdík, Petr Kružík, Libor Halíček and Ladislav Kolompár was joined in the studio by the eccentric record producer Alex Limburg and the sound engineer Daniel Václavek.

The result were ten distinctively raw tracks, traditionally shared by Petr Kružík for the music and Jaromír Švejdík for the lyrics. Some of the songs such as “Werwolf” (Werewolf), “Jeremiáš” (Jeremiah), “Tanečnice” (Dancer) and others have been part of the Priessnitz concert playlist for many years. Now the album Hexe is finally released again in a careful rerelease and for the first time also as an LP on 180 gram vinyl. The visual component by Jaromír Švejdík got an updated “facelift” and the recording itself was remastered in the SONO studio.

So let’s enjoy a return to the early 90s after thirty years with music that has stood the test of time.
