Greatest hits Poletíme? lively, energetic and distinctive

The band Poletíme? thanks to its numerous concerts has gradually “won” a privileged position in the club scene, regularly performs at the most important music festivals and is one of the most original musical formations in the country. During their fifteen years of existence, Poletíme? Has released five studio albums, featuring many of their big hits.

But they get the right dimension, liveliness and energy at concerts. This February, the band went on a spring tour, during which they also played a double album called “Best of do gramofonu” (Best of to the gramophone) in the Brno club Fléda. And it was here, with the expected help of fans and symbolically in the year of their fifteenth birthday celebration, that Poletíme? recorded their first ever live album! The release of a live record has been planned for years, but it’s finally happening now.

Over the years, the songs have taken on more vigorous arrangements and tempos. Concerts are the band’s strength, and thanks to a great audience, they managed to capture the atmosphere, which tends to be exceptional especially at the Fléda. The release of the double album Best of to turntable, subtitled “15 let ve vzduchu” (15 Years in the Air), a collection of greatest hits performed live, is a summary of this stage and a precursor to the forthcoming new album next year. The concert itself was also captured by the cameras of Czech Television, so we can look forward to its video recording later this year.
